Responsibilities:

  • Clerical and secretarial support to the Associate Vice President of Faculty Affairs and Development, Staff and Faculty of the Faculty Affairs and Development department. Serves as Office Receptionist. Records meeting minutes. Schedules and arranges appointments and workshops for the Associate Vice President of Faculty Affairs and Development.
  • Process full-time lecturer reappointments.
  • Assist the Associate Vice President of Faculty Affairs and Development with the Academic Calendar.
  • Provides administrative support to faculty organizations, which include but are not limited to the Department Chairs and Program Coordinators, and the "Un-tenured" Faculty Organization (UFO).
  • Serves as records custodian, maintains files, office record keeping, retention and storage. 
  • Oversees and reconciles office supplies/equipment needs, campus inventory audit, process hospitality and travel requests/claims, user access requests and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.

Cheryl Atienza, Administrative Analyst-Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Immigration Services for International Tenure-Track faculty process.
  • Process appointment letters for new full-time faculty hires, Director and Retreat appointments.
  • Assist AVP with contractual and statutory grievances.
  • Process Faculty Early Retirement Program (FERP) appointments and requests for Emeritus status.
  • Process information requests.
  • Manage recruitment for tenured and tenure-track faculty and full-time lecturers, Faculty Recruitment Plans, and Faculty Background Checks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Faculty Affairs budget activities.
  • Process the Service Salary Increases (SSI) and Range Elevations for Lecturers.
  • Administer the Perceived Teaching Effectiveness (PTE's) student evaluations for stateside courses and provide technical support.
  • Assist with subpoenas.
  • Manage the Faculty Affairs website and web accessibility.

  • Process tenure-track and coach reappointments.

  • Process full-time faculty Market Salary Increase (MSI) Applications.
